As the annual GOJHL deadline has come and gone the Corvairs found themselves busy as per usual. The deadline which is the last opportunity to add pieces to the team saw 3 newly acquired players added to the Corvairs lineup for the remainder of the season. Among the 3 new additions saw Michael Barker and Anthony Agaunno make their Corvair debuts this past week while deadline addition Cole Tymkin will soon.
Barker, 19 of Buffalo, New York was acquired from the GOJHL Buffalo Regals earlier in the week. Michael who caught the attention with his ability to shoot, score, his speed and the upside of potential he holds in his game. Michael posted 19G,11A,30PTS in 29GP with Buffalo.
Aguanno, 19 a resident from Mississauga, Ontario was obtained from the OHL Kingston Frontenacs. Anthony who had turned his attention to school to start the season has quickly jumped back into game shape. Posting 2 assists in his first 2 games- Anthony brings grit to the backend with speed and a strong defensive IQ.
Tymkin, 20 who hails from Rainy River, Ontario is a 4 year veteran with the OHL London Knights. Cole was a dominant player in the OHL and a feared opponent at the same time. In 199 OHL games he tallied 38G,55A,93PTS and 337PIMS over his 4 seasons. Cole will bring tons of experience and skill to the Corvairs lineup.
