As the 2019/20 regular season comes to a close the Corvairs posted an immaculate record of 45-4-0-1 registering 91 PTS. This years record ties with the 2017/18 and 2013/14 seasons. This season the Corvairs were able to lock up 1st place among the entire GOJHL as well as 1st place in the Golden Horseshoe conference. Other season highs include finishing 1st in the league with the lowest Goals Against (102), 2nd in the league for Goals Per Game (5.02) and the 2nd best penalty kill (88.24%). After returning to the league with no more than 1 player eligible for the 2019/20 season the Corvairs iced a completely brand new lineup on the ice. Aidan Hughes(1.94 GAA,.922%), Evan Reinhart and Nick Clay controlled the crease posting a stellar season all around. New additions such as Captain Ryan Wells who finished 1st place among all GOJHL defenceman (72PTS in 47GP) was a huge part of the back end success. Acquired players such as Colt Corpse, Tanner Brennecke, James Valente, Anthony Aguanno, Mack Honchar and Alec Brown all contributed to one of the top defence cores in the league. Offensively new incoming players Tyler Burnie(73PTS in 37GP), Ryan Littlejohn, Cole Tymkin, Joel Mazzilli, Nick Giunta, Danyk Drouin, Michael Barker, Noah Caperchione, Dylan D’Agostino, Matt Bridgwater, Zach Manazzone, Kessler Skye, Marino Moro all contributed to the 251 goals in 50GP. As the regular season was filled with much success we prepare ourselves for the 1st round of playoffs against the 8th seed Buffalo Regals.
